Jacob's apartment, nestled in a building colored typical Stockholm burnt orange, is a study in restraint and quiet confidence. Low-slung furniture keeps the sightlines uninterrupted. The centerpiece is a stainless steel kitchen that spans one wall—sleek, industrial, and unexpectedly warm in the soft daylight pouring through large windows. With no upper cabinets, the space feels open and airy, more like an artist’s studio than a traditional home kitchen.  Pale pine floors run throughout, grounding the cool steel with a natural softness.

Jacob, who works in fashion PR, speaks about the renovation like an editor talks about a layout—it was about cutting what was unnecessary, letting the essential breathe. His best interior tip is to work with the space’s limitations and to not overcomplicate things. “Start by just figuring out what you’re able to do, and then take that as far as possible.”
